Projects help you organize your audio content. To start with, you will probably only need a single Project, but if you control multiple brands and need to grant Members different levels of access or use different payment methods for each, having separate Projects will make your life easier. In addition, if you're using our white-label apps, note that each Project is restricted to one iOS and one Android app.
Your first Project
Once you've created a new Audiorista account with no Projects associated with it yet, you will be prompted to select a billing plan for your first Project.
Selecting the Starter plan is fine if you just want to get started - you can upgrade later if you start hitting the limits of the free plan, and we can add apps to your Project regardless of what you select at this point.
Depending on whether you selected a free or paid plan, you will now either be asked to provide payment details or proceed directly to naming your Project.
The Project-name is primarily used for your own reference and can be changed later. As soon as you click Get started, we finish the setup of your Project with your previously selected plan and you as the Owner and sole Member. At this point, you may want to learn more about creating Tracks.
Creating more Projects
As mentioned, you may find yourself needing multiple Projects. There is no limit to the number of Projects you can own, but do note that each Project runs on a separate billing plan. We will per default re-use your existing payment details if available. To create a new Project, simply open the Project-dropdown in the Dashboard's side-menu and click Create.
Also from the side-menu, you can access your Project's Settings. Only the Project-owner has access to this section of the Dashboard. From here you can view and edit the following:
|Name||The name of your Project||Max. 255 characters|
|Logo||The logo of your Project. Used as fallback for Tracks and Playlists that are missing artwork.||JPG or PNG, recommended size 2048 x 2048 pixels (square)|
|Billing plan||Your Project's current billing plan. Please get in touch if you need to upgrade.|
To save any changes you make to these properties, click the Save changes button at the bottom of the screen.
Also on the Settings page, you can invite other people as Members to manage your Project's content. To do so, enter their email into the invitation-field (one email at a time only) and click Invite.
Once they have clicked on the accept-link in the invitation-email and finished the signup-flow, they will appear on the list of Members. To revoke access to the Project, simply click on the 🗑 button next to their entry in the list and confirm.
The last thing you can control from the Settings page is the behavior and appearance of your Project's persistent player. To learn more about this, read the [Widget guide](/guides/widget).
